Scheduling Appointments
Our office hours are designed to meet the needs of parents, children and families.
Illness visits
We understand that a sick child can be very worrisome for a parent. We believe same day appointments are very important in a pediatric practice and it has always been our goal to be available to you. Please call our office as soon as possible in the morning if your child needs to be seen to ensure appointment availability. We do our best to remain on time, but please be patient as some delays may be beyond our control.
We will try our best to schedule your child with the provider (physician, nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant) of your choice; however, this may not be possible for a same day appointment. We offer multiple providers on a daily basis to meet your needs and do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Well Child Visits (Physicals)
Our provider’s schedules fill up quickly so if possible, please try to schedule appointments 6-8 weeks prior to the date you would like your child seen. This will help ensure you will get the date and time that works best for your schedule. More lengthy visits such as consultations for particular problems such as behavioral or learning issues should also be scheduled in advance.
After Hours
We realize that sometimes typical office hours don't coincide with the onset or worsening of an illness. We offer weekend hours at our Waterville location for sick visit appointments.
Saturday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm (closed from Noon to 1pm)
Sunday: Please call us for appointment availability
Prenatal Visits
Our team of providers is happy to meet with any expecting families. Please call to set up an appointment.
Missed Appointments
As an office, we prepare for your child's visit. It is very important when you make an appointment to keep it. By not keeping a scheduled appointment, our providers' ability to provide services to other patients is limited. As a result, in the event you fail to come to your scheduled appointment, the visit will be marked as a “No Show”. If there are three or more “No Show” appointments your child may be discharged from the practice.
Cancellations
We do understand that in today’s busy world occasionally situations come up that are beyond your control. In those instances, we do request you extend us the courtesy of a 24 hour notice. This courtesy allows us to use the time that was reserved for your child to help other patients in need. It is our policy that if you miss or call within less than the requested 24 hour appointment time period, the visit will be marked as a “No Show”.
Providers
There are six physicians in the practice. All are Board Certified in Pediatrics and Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition, we have three Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
